Panaeolus solidipes

Common name: Solid stemmed panaeolus
Spore Print: Black
Habitat: Grows on dung, these were on horse dung
Edibility: Edible and one of the only non-hallucinogenic Panaeolus that's worth eating!
Comments: I found these in Nebraska (all other mushrooms on this site were found in Colorado unless otherwise stated). It took me awhile to key this one out but now I can fairly easily identify it: grows on dung, the stem has striations and is twisted (characteristic of this species), black spore print, absence of a veil, and the stem is solid and tough.
